Exodus announced a significant change to their upcoming tour lineup through their official Facebook page.

“Because of recent medical issues and limitations to Possessed, we welcome HAVOK to join us and Misfire for the Swarm of Terror and a trifecta of thrash!” the band stated.

Havok will join the Swarm of Terror tour alongside Exodus and Misfire. They replace Possessed, who withdrew due to health concerns.

The tour’s roster has undergone its second adjustment this year. This change highlights the challenges in organizing major metal tours.

Blabbermouth reported that Possessed had stepped in as Deicide’s replacement earlier this year after scheduling conflicts arose.

The Swarm of Terror tour begins on April 27 in Phoenix, Arizona. Knotfest confirmed the tour will conclude on May 13 in Asheville, North Carolina. The schedule features special appearances at Welcome to Rockville and Milwaukee Metal Fest.

Havok brings their technical prowess to the tour following their 2020 album ‘V.’ The release demonstrated their continued evolution in the thrash metal scene.

Possessed had been developing new material before their withdrawal. Their last album, ‘Revelations of Oblivion,’ came out in 2019. Health issues have now forced them to pause their touring activities.
