A movie about Dokken is coming to Netflix.
Dokken appeared on The Hook Rocks podcast to discuss both the band’s new album and the upcoming biopic that shares a similarity to Mötley Crüe’s ‘The Dirt.’ While discussing the movie, he recalled a story about the Van Halen singer, David Lee Roth.
The David Lee Roth Story

The rocker shared that he told the film director about the band’s career, the incidents, and what they had been through, and in addition to the stories he told the director, there was one story about the Van Halen singer. Apparently, during their show in The Whisky a Go-Go, Roth had temporarily turned the only bathroom in a bar into an office for intimacy. He shared the story:
“I told him a story about The Whisky, there’s only one bathroom upstairs and three dressing rooms, and we could never get in the dang bathroom when we were playing with Van Halen because David Lee Roth made that his temporary sex office. When the door was locked, I’m, like, ‘David, come on, man. You’ve got four guys out here that need to pee.’ He’s like, ‘I’ll be out in a minute.’ I’m like, ‘Come on.'”
The Movie Details

The rocker thinks that the movie will be good and that he answered some questions at The Whisky, the band’s starting point. The movie will touch on Dokken’s career in the ’80s and has the same director as ‘The Dirt.’
According to Dokken, The Doors was the house band for the Whisky, and most of the story has already been told in ‘The Dirt,’ so he will make up some stories for the biopic. There are not many details about the movie yet, and it’s uncertain when it will be ready to be released.
