They say when it rains, it pours! In this case, it poured enough to ruin Perry Farrell’s studio. However, the flood didn’t stop the singer from recording a track in his closet. In addition to that, Farrell has also been working on some exciting projects that will most definitely excite the fans. Before we get to that, let’s look at what Perry tweeted about the flood and the track which came out of it.

The singer wrote, “In California when it pours, man! The good news is that the house only leaked in one room; the bad news is that this is our studio’s shape (small pain in the groin).” Besides the message, Farrell also shared a snap, showing the current state of the studio.

Even though his studio was in ruins, the musician could at least get a good track out of the experience. He added, “I recorded a new track anyway in a closet. The track by Kolsch is called ‘Sublimation.’ Turning bad experiences into positives.”

Besides the fresh track, there is some other news from the frontman as he’s back in the studio with Jane’s Addiction bass player Eric Avery and they are working on new material for the band. So, this is major news for fans who have been with the band since the beginning.

As if Eric Avery reuniting with Farrell wasn’t enough surprising news, the singer is apparently working with Porno for Pyros’ Peter DiStefano on some new tracks. Porno for Pyros was formed after Jane’s Addiction broke up when a few members wanted to keep going. Now they are back again to record together. If Perry pops up in your feeds more than usual, these are the reasons, as he is keeping himself busy, maybe more so than ever.
