Paul Stanley Is 69 Now, Here’s Why He’s So Important For KISS And Rock History

KISS shared a post on its official Twitter page celebrating rhythm guitarist and co-lead vocalist Paul Stanley’s 69th birthday, while doing so, Stanley was referred to as ‘ultimate rock star’ and both his fans and fellow musicians have a strong reason to do so.

As many of you know, frontman Paul Stanley has played many important roles in KISS since he is the writer or co-writer of many of the band’s highest-charting hits, in addition to supporting his band’s uniqueness thanks to his distinctive, wide-ranging voice.

Many respectable magazines ranked him on the highest places when it comes to Paul Stanley’s voice, Hit Parader ranked him 18th on their list of the Top 100 Metal Vocalists of All Time, and a Gibson.com readers’ poll also named him 13th on their list on Top 25 Frontmen, therefore, Stanley is one of the greatest according to both critics and fans.

As a matter of fact, there is even one fan’s favorite performance of Paul Stanley way back in 1992, when KISS performed ‘Forever’ which was released as the second single from the 1989 album Hot on the Shade. Paul’s vocal performance was so smooth and angelic that KISS fans poured thousand of comments under the video stating that Stanley shined during the performance.
