Paris Jackson Teams Up With Paul McCartney Daughter Stella To Pay Attention To Importance Of Earth
Pop icon Michael Jackson’s daughter, also a new musician herself Paris Jackson shared a post on her official Instagram page announcing a brand new collection of her friend, the Beatles bassist Paul McCartney’s daughter, and famous fashion designer Stella McCartney in collaboration with Greenpeace to support the campaign to prevent amazon deforestation.
As some of you might know, Stella McCartney is the daughter of the Beatles icon Paul McCartney and photographer, animal rights activist Linda McCartney who was the first wife of the legendary bassist. However, Stella managed to create herself a name outside her father’s fame since she is a famous fashion designer who creates sustainable fashion which is one of the most important aspects of ecological concerns.
Due to the fact that McCartney is a huge supporter of animal rights, mindful about our environment, and against deforestation and is particularly known for her use of vegetarian and vegan alternatives in her work such as her recent collection named ‘Mylo’ which involves an alternative to leather with leather made out of mushrooms without any plastic.
Being Stella’s close friend and also a promoter of sustainable, vegan, and cruelty-free fashion, Paris Jackson also shared a post on her official Instagram page once the ‘Mylo’ collection came out, showing support to create a great alternative to leather.
Recently, the daughter of Paul McCartney collaborated with Greenpeace to honor Earth Day on 22 April, as well as to raise awareness of Greenpeace’s ‘Act for The Amazon’ campaign with a spring/summer 2021 capsule collection. Since nearly twenty percent of the lungs of the Earth are destroyed, Paris Jackson introduced the collection herself via an Instagram post, stressing the importance of preventing amazon deforestation from happening.
Here is what Jackson said:
“in honor of earth day, Stella x Greenpeace is a limited edition collab supporting Greenpeace’s campaign to stop amazon deforestation fuelled by industrial agriculture and meat production.
we stand together with Greenpeace and amazon’s indigenous communities. we cannot have sustainability without solidarity. we encourage all to sign this petition in support of this cause.”
