Despite the challenges they faced, Pamela Anderson insists that there were also moments of true love and happiness. “Tommy and I fell in love. It felt like this really safe place,” she said. Recalling the romantic gestures Tommy made for her, Pamela added, “He would arrive at the house on a horse covered in full knight gear on, a knight in shining armor, and read a scroll to me.”
The actress spoke about how she thought the extreme gestures were proof of true love. She continued, “It was just so hyper-heightened. But it felt good. It felt like, ‘Oh my gosh, this is what it’s all about. This is true love.’ It was so romantic; it was so over-the-top.”
Now, Anderson looks back on her relationship with Lee realizing “it wasn’t a foundation for sustainable love.” Today, Pam and Tommy have both moved on and are co-parenting their sons, but the actress says that she will always have a special place in her heart for her ex-husband.
