Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne’s daughter Kelly Osbourne opened up about her relapse during the coronavirus pandemic during an interview on the Facebook Watch series Red Table Talk and released that her addiction journey started when she was only 13 and prescribed Vicodin after surgery.

As many of you know, the Osbourne family is not a stranger to substance addiction as Black Sabbath icon Ozzy Osbourne was notorious for consuming an incredible amount of alcohol and drugs until his decision to have a clean life seven years ago. There was even one time when biologist Bill Sullivan revealed that Osbourne is a ‘Genetic Mutant,’ surviving after all those years of heavy drug and alcohol abuse.

Unfortunately, the family members carried the infamous legacy of Ozzy Osbourne and his 35-years-old son Jack Osbourne had a long time struggle with addictions just like his father, however, managed to keep his sobriety for the past 17 years now.

Inevitably, Ozzy Osbourne’s daughter Kelly Osbourne was addicted to drugs and alcohol as well after growing in a household where addiction was quite ‘normal’ and usual. Her substance addiction started at a very young age and since then, Kelly has been struggling to get rid of her alcohol and drug addiction, however, managed to stay sober for four years until her recent relapse.

Through her Instagram stories, Kelly Osbourne recently opened up about her relapse with her fans and stated that despite she had a hard time while coming clean about what she had done, Kelly stated that she’s going to be honest about her process and meanwhile, trying to get back on his sobriety as soon as possible.

While the daughter of Ozzy Osbourne has always been open about her struggles with her fans, she opened up about how her addiction started during an interview and revealed that she comes from an alcoholic family with multiple other addictions which made her addiction possible. Moreover, Kelly revealed that her battle with addiction began when she 13 years old when she was prescribed Vicodin while recovering from surgery including the removal of her tonsillitis. From that on, it went downhill for the young Kelly as she got to heroin pretty quickly which eventually led him to rehab.

Here is what Kelly said:

“Very quickly, it went from Vicodin to Percocet, from Percocet to — to heroin, eventually, because it was cheaper. I got caught buying it, and then the very next day, my mom put me in rehab.”
