In the latest episode of the podcast ‘Funny How?’ Oasis’ Noel Gallagher discussed politics. The singer shared his views on the current political climate, jokingly, he outlined how he would address issues if he were to establish his own political party.
“My party – it’d be called The After Party, and the strapline would be, ‘It’s Going To Get Worse Before It Gets Better.'”
In fact, the rocker believes he could deal not only with Russians, but Putin too:
“I could deal with these Russians. I’d just sit Putin down, and say, ‘Look, little guy – alright mate? What seems to be the problem?… What would you do if I taught you play guitar? Leave the Ukrainians alone?'”
Gallagher Is A Potential Candidate For Prime Minister Role

Elsewhere, the singer-songwriter also reflected on his potential as a candidate for the UK Prime Minister role. He mentioned that if he were to assume the position, he would mandate bi-annual health checks and impose severe penalties for individuals who failed to improve their health despite receiving medical advice:
“I’d say to people, ‘Right, well you’re not in decent shape here. We’ll see you in two years and give them a plan on how to get healthy.’ And if you’ve stayed the same or deteriorated, well then, ‘I’m sorry – it’s on you.'”
He then shared the consequences of the imaginary rule he put up:
“If you show some kind of willing to get healthy, then that’s different… we can see if they have changed their diet or got more exercise. And then if they didn’t – I would shoot them.”
Despite contemplating potential policies for a political role, Gallagher clarified that he holds no interest in politics and prefers to steer clear of current affairs discussions.
