Noel Gallagher Announces Splitting From Wife Of 12 Years, Sara MacDonald

Noel Gallagher and Sara MacDonald’s marriage hadn’t been exceptionally smooth sailing. However, the couple remained together for over a decade and made it work, only to announce their decision to split recently. A spokesperson of Gallagher and MacDonald confirmed the break up to NME, adding that the former couple wished for privacy.

Talking about why the marriage became strained at some points, well, Liam Gallagher hadn’t been the most supportive when his beloved estranged brother Noel decided to marry Sara. Ever since the couple married, the former Oasis frontman said some not-so-nice words about the couple, claiming that MacDonald poisoned Noel against him.

Gallagher and MacDonald’s marriage carried on despite all the hardships they had faced, and the couple went on to have two sons, Donovan and Sonny, born in 2007 and 2010. However, there had been trouble in paradise as they decided to call it quits and separate ways.

“Noel and Sara will together continue to look after their children, who remain their priority,” noted a spokesperson on behalf of the family as they wished for privacy and respect from the media and the fans. “Noel and Sara ask the media to respect their privacy and that of our family at this time.”

We do not know why the couple decided to end their marriage, but sometimes, it’s healthier for couples to choose to get a divorce rather than turn it into a toxic relationship. So, the only thing left is to respect Noel and Sara and wonder what Liam will say about the matter.
