Marilyn Manson has announced the release of an expanded edition of his acclaimed new album, “One Assassination Under God – Chapter 2.” The album is now available digitally worldwide via Nuclear Blast Records and is streaming on all major platforms, according to a post on Instagram.
The expanded release adds a previously unreleased song, “You Can’t Die Young,” to the album’s original nine tracks. It offers fans another piece of Manson’s latest creative chapter.
Manson shared the news and described the addition as a gift to listeners.
“As a special gift, I am releasing one more song to add to ‘Chapter 2, You Can’t Die Young,'” Manson said. “Available everywhere now.”
The new addition arrives just two weeks after the original album first hit shelves. Fans had little time to catch their breath before another piece of Manson’s vision landed in their hands.
“One Assassination Under God – Chapter 2” originally dropped on August 14. It marks Manson’s thirteenth studio album and the direct follow-up to 2024’s “One Assassination Under God – Chapter One.” The record was produced by longtime collaborator Tyler Bates, with Gil Sharone handling drums. It picks up narratively and sonically right where the first chapter left off.
The original nine-track album runs just under 43 minutes. It includes cuts like “Unalive,” “Exit Wound” and closer “Enantiomorph,” with “Exit Wound” serving as the record’s lead single ahead of the full release. The project stands as some of Manson’s strongest work since “Holy Wood,” marked by a darker, more focused turn compared to the material that preceded it.
By tacking “You Can’t Die Young” onto the tracklist so soon after release, Manson continues a pattern of treating “Chapter 2” as a living project rather than a finished statement. The move expands the record’s world even as listeners are still absorbing its original nine songs, giving longtime fans fresh incentive to revisit the album and reinforcing the sense that Manson’s “Chapter” saga is far from over.
