Alice Cooper guitarist Nita Strauss recently shared an update on her pregnancy. She revealed her plans for the final month while taking a break from Cooper’s tour. The update was posted on Instagram.

Strauss opened up about her preparations for the baby’s arrival. She discussed her pregnancy cravings in her social media post.

“Final month of pregnancy plans: Wash all the baby clothes, pack the go bag, eat all the popsicles,” Strauss said.

She also addressed her pregnancy cravings. She shared a relatable experience with her followers.

“I haven’t had crazy cravings or wanted any weird food combinations but fruit popsicles have been my hyperfixation the whole time,” she continued. “Anybody relate?”

The guitarist’s temporary absence comes during a significant period for Alice Cooper’s touring schedule. The legendary shock rock performer continues his active performance calendar.

KLBJ reported that Cooper launched his “Alice’s Attic” spring 2026 tour on April 14 in San Antonio, Texas. The tour runs through May 9 in Camden, New Jersey. The tour includes stops in cities like Topeka and Huber Heights, showcasing Cooper’s continued dedication to live performance at age 78.

The tour kicked off with impressive energy. Ultimate Classic Rock noted that Cooper delivered a spirited, career-spanning performance at San Antonio’s Majestic Theatre. The show featured a diverse setlist including a cover of Nirvana’s “Smells Like Teen Spirit” and the opener “Hello, Hooray.”

Recent performances have demonstrated Cooper’s enduring stage presence. My Global Mind documented that the shock rock pioneer rolled into Sand Mountain Amphitheater on a gorgeous May evening. This proved that at 78, he still has gas in the tank and continues bringing his signature blood and riffs to audiences.

Strauss’s pregnancy announcement earlier in 2024 marked her first child with husband Josh Stewart. This adds a personal milestone to her successful career as one of rock’s prominent female guitarists. Her temporary break from touring allows her to focus on the final preparations for motherhood while Cooper continues the demanding tour schedule with his longtime band.
