Nita’s husband and bandmate, Josh Villalta, announced that he will officially join her at Rams games this season after previously testing the waters together at several games.

“Really excited to finally share this…After a few test runs playing together at Rams games, I’ve officially been brought on to join Nita Strauss this season as she kicks off her 7th season with the Rams!” Josh Villalta said.

Villalta went on to express his appreciation for the opportunity and his excitement for the season ahead.

“The Rams organization has been so amazing to Nita and I over the years and getting the opportunity to officially be part of the game day experience alongside her is a huge honor for me,” he continued. “I’m incredibly grateful to be part of the Rams family and excited for this year. I’ve been lucky enough to share a lot of stages and create some incredible moments with Nita over the years, but getting to do this together in an NFL stadium is pretty awesome.”

He also teased what fans can expect at the upcoming home opener.

“I have some cool ideas in mind and I can’t wait for the fans to see and hear what we bring to the stadium this season. We’ll be kicking things off this Saturday at SoFi Stadium for the home opener…ironically against the Saints! See you Saturday, LA!!” he said.

Meanwhile, Nita Strauss had previously addressed speculation about her returning to the Alice Cooper band following the birth of her son.

“There’s been some news circulating that I’d like to clarify! While I miss being out there sooo much and absolutely do plan to return to touring, it will not be on the upcoming Alice tour,” Strauss said. “Max will barely be 3 months old in September so we are going to let him grow up just a little more before he starts earning his keep on the road!”

She also extended her support to her replacement in the band.

“Anna is doing a phenomenal job with the band and I wish them all massive success on the tour!! For now, life pretty much looks like this and I wouldn’t have it any other way,” Strauss said.

While Strauss’s return to touring with Alice Cooper remains on hold, her performances with the Rams are set to begin this Saturday at SoFi Stadium.

Strauss’s family milestone and her renewed on-field role with the Rams come after a busy year of major life changes for the guitarist.

Strauss and Villalta welcomed their first child together, a son named Maxwell James, on May 28. The baby boy arrived at 7 pounds, 6 ounces and 20 inches long, giving the couple their first experience of parenthood after years of building their careers side by side in the music industry.

The Rams made Strauss’s continued involvement with the team official this week, naming her the franchise’s guitarist for the 2026 season. The announcement solidifies a partnership that has spanned nearly a decade, with Strauss having become a fixture of the Rams’ game-day atmosphere at SoFi Stadium well before her current homecoming performance.

On the Alice Cooper side, the band moved forward earlier this year by introducing British guitarist Anna Cara as Strauss’s stand-in. Cara made her debut with Cooper’s band in April, stepping into the touring lineup while Strauss focused on her pregnancy and the arrival of her son.

Cara’s rise within the band has drawn its own attention in the months since her debut, with the young guitarist earning recognition for covering Strauss’s touring commitments during this transitional period. Her presence has allowed the band to continue its schedule uninterrupted, giving Strauss the flexibility to prioritize her growing family before eventually returning to the road.
