Nikki Sixx Shares His Conditions To Make New Mötley Crüe Album

Nikki Sixx answered Jeremy White on Twitter and gave hope to his fans by stating that he is looking positively at the chances of creating a new album with Mötley Crüe.

Although Crüe is often praised for its unique sound and exciting stage performances by both fans and critics, the media has usually preferred to concentrate on the members’ personal lives and backstage antics. Their music also concentrated on themes such as hedonistic lifestyle along with partying, drinking and substance consumption along with the awe of women.

The band created nine studio albums throughout their career, but its bassist and lyricist Nikki Sixx started to focus on another project after 2006; Sixx: A.M.. While he started creating and performing with Sixx: A.M., Mötley Crüe began to think about ending their tours in 2011. Hence, the band hasn’t released a new album since 2008.

Even though they sold the rights to their music to BMG Rights Management, Sixx recently addressed the possibility of creating another album with the band on his Twitter account. He excitedly stated that he would be up for it as he seems to have missed the old school, raw, and dirty lifestyle as well as working with the iconic producer Bob Rock.

Here is what Jeremy White asked:

“Would you consider making one last complete album with the band and Bob Rock?”

Sixx replied:

“Live off the floor? Old school? Raw and dirty? Bob Rock? Count me in.”

In 2018, the vocalist Vince Neil announced that they recorded four new songs and that they were returning to touring in the future. They returned and delighted fans as they received the same energy from the crowd as they used to. The band had to postpone some dates, like many musicians in 2020 and 2021 due to the global pandemic, but they will soon be on stage in 2022.
