Mötley Crüe Reportedly Sells Their Entire Music Catalog To BMG

Recently, Variety reported that Mötley Crüe decided to sell their entire music catalog for a significant amount of money after negotiating for a very long time. Their fans regarded the number very low considering the band’s hit records while the others are still waiting for Mötley Crüe’s announcement.

The legendary musician Bob Dylan ignited the fire when he revealed that he would sell his entire musical catalog to Universal Music Publishing Group for $400 million. Both his colleagues and fans were very surprised and shocked about his decision, but most found it reasonable. So, he was followed by CSNY icon David Crosby who was in the middle of a severe financial crisis that could cause losing his house.

Therefore David Crosby announced that he had to sell the rights of his works to Irving Azoff’s Iconic Artists Group due to his ongoing financial problems. Then, it was claimed that E Street Band founder Bruce Springsteen started negotiating with music companies, and the deal was almost done after one of them offered approximately $400 million to the famous singer. In addition to them, some resources revealed that Sting was ready to make a deal like the others.

According to Variety, Mötley Crüe also joined these musicians, and they sold their entire music catalog to BMG approximately for $150 million, but the other resources are talking about a lower number. It’s been stated that the band has already received a payment from the company, and they are going to take the rest of it after Mötley Crüe members finish their upcoming Stadium Tour in 2022. They will probably release a statement about the deal following the tour, and their fans are now anxiously waiting.
