He continued by sharing positive results from recent health tests and reflecting on his current life priorities.

“Just got back today’s newest results and considering some misadventures in the past this 66 year old pirate ship looks ready to go back to sea,” he said. “I have a wonderful wife, 5 golden children and a beautiful granddaughter. Do you think any part of my past indulgences Is worth destroying the beautiful life I built? Never. This is it.”

Sixx concluded his message with a direct challenge to his followers and critics alike.

“Either get your shit tighter or die a slow death crawl,” he said. “We all die, some just give up sooner….I’m planning on cracking 100. That will piss off the critics. Enjoy your weekend.”

Sixx’s commitment to health and longevity comes with significant personal history that adds weight to his current dedication to wellness and family life.

Blabbermouth reported that Sixx marked July 2 as the 24th anniversary of his sobriety. He credited his “willingness to confront [his] past” as crucial to living drug- and alcohol-free. This milestone represents nearly a quarter-century of maintaining his health through sobriety. It directly supports his ambitious goal of reaching 100 years old.

The importance of health management has become increasingly relevant for Mötley Crüe as the band members age. People revealed that the band recently faced health-related challenges when they had to cancel their appearance at the Boardwalk Rock Festival due to vocalist Vince Neil’s health concerns. This situation highlighted how health issues can directly impact the band’s touring schedule and commitments.

The Music Universe noted that Mötley Crüe postponed their Las Vegas residency due to Vince Neil requiring a medical procedure. These recent developments within the band provide additional context for why Sixx places such emphasis on maintaining his physical condition and regular health monitoring.

The contrast between Sixx’s proactive health approach and the band’s recent health-related setbacks underscores the bassist’s determination to avoid similar issues through preventive care and lifestyle choices that support his goal of living to 100.
