Wolfgang Van Halen’s Debut Album Ranks No.1 Across The Charts, ‘This Is Absolutely Crazy’

The founder of Mammoth WVH, Wolfgang Van Halen, recently posted a tweet on his Twitter account and expressed his immense happiness and gratitude after seeing that his newly released album ranked at the top on all charts and said that he cannot believe this is true.

As you probably know, Wolfgang started pursuing a solo career following the passing of his father, Van Halen’s iconic guitarist Eddie. While his father was still battling cancer, Wolf channeled his feelings of sadness into music and wrote the song ‘Distance‘ which he released as a tribute to Eddie in November 2020, a month after his passing.

The song achieved critical acclaim and ranked No.1 on the Billboard charts. Following that, Wolf started working hard on his self-titled debut album and at the beginning of 2021, he announced that he’ll release it on June 11. It has been over a week since the album was released and that response has been amazing.

‘Mammoth WVH’ ranked No. 1 on Top Rock Albums, Hard Rock Albums, and Independent Albums charts, No. 2 on Top Album Sales and Current Album Sales charts, and No. 12 on Billboard 200. After seeing the extreme success of his album, Wolf posted a tweet and thanked all his fans for their support, and credited them as the secret heroes behind his great success.

Wolfgang Van Halen expressed his happiness with the following words:

“I’m blown away and eternally grateful for the support you’ve all given me. This is absolutely crazy. Thank you (Like seriously… a debut rock album getting a top 15 placement on the Billboard Top 200 in 2021?! Absolutely insane. You are all incredible).”
