Nikki Sixx Called Up Vince Neil To Get Info About His Current Health Status

Nikki Sixx recently talked to Cleaveland news about his most recently released book ‘The First 21’ and touring with Mötley Crüe in 2022. In the interview, Vince Neil’s injuries were also an important subject, and Sixx addressed it, stating that he is confident Neil will heal.

Vince Neil has experienced a series of unfortunate events in the past year. He has been criticized for losing his stamina, energy, and the most important thing, his voice. His latest performances were not very impressive, which annoyed his fans while concerning others. He started getting back into shape recently until he faced yet another unlucky moment in a show in The Monsters On The Mountain Festival.

Neil fell through a gap with his guitar and broke his ribs. He had to leave the show as he wasn’t able to breathe. Mötley Crüe updated fans on Neil’s condition, and on October 17, they announced that Neil was back home and resting in preparation for their 2022 tour. This wasn’t enough to convince fans that Neil would perform well in the upcoming tour.

The band’s bassist Nikki Sixx gave another update in his recent interview. He stated that when he called Neil after finding out that he fell during a show, they laughed about the situation and recalled the times they both fell during the same show. He also mentioned that because Neil was wearing a guitar, his injury wasn’t as severe as it would be if he weren’t wearing one. He reflected on his confidence and stated that the vocalist will heal fully in time for their 2022 tour.

Here are Sixx’s words:

“Nah. I called him up and said, ‘Vince, what happened?’ and he told me, and we started laughing about one time we both fell off the stage at the same show. But he was really lucky; he said if it wasn’t a song that he was playing rhythm guitar on it could’ve been his head, which would’ve been a worse injury. The guitar broke his fall.

But he’ll heal up, and we’ll be ready to go on tour in June. This tour’s been postponed twice; we just didn’t have enough information at the time, with protocols and all, to go and do a stadium tour this year. We’re all feeling good about it now, and we can’t wait, man.”

Eddie Trunk had posted Neil singing at a private gig after recovering from his injury and stated his happiness over the healing of the musician. However, while many fans were reassured that his performance was good, other people still criticized him for lacking his old stamina due to his weight.
