Neal Schon recently tweeted his guess regarding who had been trying to cancel him by making numerous accusations and heating up his feud with frontman Arnel Pineda.

Schon seems not to catch a break as the ‘dispute’ between him and Pineda put him in the crosshairs after the guitarist’s wife, Michaele, made a few comments on Facebook that weren’t particularly friendly. She referred to Arnel as the ‘other guy,’ not-so-subtly reminding the singer of ‘his place’ by implying he should be grateful to Neal for hiring him into Journey.

Arnel then responded to Michaele’s claims, clarifying that he wouldn’t have any of her criticisms. He then gave an ultimatum to Neal, daring the guitarist to fire him. After these tweets, the singer’s fans flooded Schon’s social platforms, accusing him of disrespect and racism.

The guitarist’s fans, however, claimed that these accusations were cheap smear campaigns to bring Neal down, and it seems that Schon is also a firm believer in these allegations. He recently encouraged his fans and friends to ignore all the accusations, stating that he believed ‘paid minions’ were after him and used his feud with Arnel to discredit his legacy.

Neal’s tweets on ‘hired minions’ harassing him:

“All I can tell you, fans and friends, is to ignore the contestant harassment from these hired minions from ex-people that used to work for myself. Their phony accusations – accounts. They obviously are being payed to do a job. I’m having a great time out here. See you tonight, Hartford.”

The rocker then eased his fans’ worries by saying that the accusations held no value and that somebody was hired to discredit him:

“Payed minion absolutely no validation or validity. He’s a owned pr*ck, gets payed to do their bullsh*t.”

Schon also noted that he believed these campaigns to discredit him began all those years ago when he reportedly tried buying all the rights to Journey’s name. Then, the ongoing feud with Arnel brought these ‘paid minions,’ so it seems that Neal believes he is in the crosshairs of a conspiracy to dismiss him from Journey.
