Fall Out Boy has launched a cryptic website centered around a fictional “Twilight Town Mall” that is teasing fans with hidden references and clues, as told on their official website.
The band posted on Facebook to announce the mysterious shopping center and invite fans to explore it. Select fans in the UK also received t-shirts in the mail with letters from the band. Some fans who visited certain pages of the website and called the site’s contact number believe they have found clues pointing to unreleased song titles and a new album.
Fall Out Boy’s Facebook post read: “The Twilight Town Mall directory is now open. Take a look around. New stores are opening every day. The more you come back, the more you’ll discover. Your friends at the Twilight Town Mall.”
The letters sent to fans who received t-shirts said: “Dear Valued Shopper, Congratulations! As one of our earliest rewards members, you’ve been selected to receive a special gift. Consider it a little thank you for joining us before we even opened our doors. And this is only the beginning. We’ve got a lot more in store for you. Everything we have is yours. Happy shopping! Your Friends at the Twilight Town Mall”
Fans on Reddit have been analyzing the website’s pages for clues. One fan wrote: “This is the second ‘feature image’ that has some clear naming that isn’t a reference to a song they’ve already released. Twilight Dream Center’s ‘The Dream Guard,’ Cosmic Scoops’s ‘Dr. No Tomorrow,’ I think they’re giving us releases of all song titles from the new album.”
Another discovery came when fans called the contact number listed on the site. One fan shared: “I called the contact # and it talks about how twilight town mall is under new management and looks forward to their grand reopening. It’s also Patrick speaking!”
The website is part of Fall Out Boy’s campaign to build excitement for what many fans believe is an upcoming new album. The mysterious nature of the launch has sparked widespread speculation about what the band will announce next.
The Twilight Town Mall teaser campaign began on October 27, 2026 with an eighteen-minute Instagram livestream of Patrick Stump in his vinyl room looking through his seven-inch vinyl collection of punk bands. Videos followed on October 28 showing Joe Trohman with camera equipment and on October 29 of Andy Hurley playing an arcade game. The videos were later found to have been recorded at Koreatown Plaza in Los Angeles, and the website features several stores named as callbacks to the band’s catalog, such as “Flash Flash Flash Photography Studio.”
The UK recipients of the t-shirts received them from Live Nation with the words “Twilight of the Punks” printed on them. This follows Fall Out Boy’s pattern of using cryptic campaigns to announce new music. A similar teaser preceded the announcement of So Much (for) Stardust when fans received a postcard from “Pink Seashell Beach” shortly before the album was announced in 2023.
No official album announcement or details have been released by the band as of today. The cryptic website campaign appears to be building toward a full reveal of the new project in the days ahead.
