If you’re a fan of Journey, then this is the news you’ve been patiently waiting for. Founding member Gregg Rolie is back for the 50th-anniversary tour. If you don’t believe us, Neal Schon has just confirmed the news on Facebook by replying to a fan who was very excited by the possibility of the keyboard player’s return.

A few weeks ago, Schon posted a picture of him and Rolie together on Twitter and voiced that it would be fantastic if he were to come on the 50th-anniversary tour in 2023. Although this was all said with a what if, it was still enough to get Journey fans flabbergasted. The excitement was not in vain, as Neal positively replied to a comment under his recent Facebook post, asking whether Rolie would be involved with the tour. Schon revealed, “You’ll be seeing him.”

Finally, some uplifting news from the band as Schon’s name has been pushed around in tabloids with various conflicts. The guitarist’s most obvious strife was with Steve Perry. The frontman’s desire to secure his rights within the band snowballed into a lawsuit while Schon kept his head up and refused to give him any profit.
