Neal Schon recently responded to the criticism his bandmate and Journey frontman Arnel Pineda has been receiving on X.
The rocker replied to a fan who’d come to Pineda’s defense after numerous tweets claimed that ‘Journey with Pineda on lead was just ‘karaoke.’
As the fan defended the frontman’s career and mentioned his original compositions with Journey, Schon’s response to the criticism was brief, as he tweeted:
“[I] Ignored the ignorant remarks.”
Although there were rumors that the pair, Schon and Pineda, were having a feud due to personal differences, it appears that they have worked things out.
Still, the feud had heated up so much between the two that Journey fans had to pick sides and divide into two groups, as there were rumors that Pineda would depart the band after long years of working with his bandmates.
