Mick Mars Actor Iwan Rheon Shares New Song That He Wrote 10 Years Ago

Iwan Rheon, who is known for his portrayal of Mick Mars in Mötley Crüe’s biopic ‘The Dirt,’ has recently posted a video to share his latest song on his official Instagram account. He stated that the song was written ten years ago and he forgot its existence until now.

Mötley Crüe’s biopic ‘The Dirt’ was released on March 18, 2019. The movie, which was based on the band’s autobiographical book ‘The Dirt: Confessions of the World’s Most Notorious Rock Band,’ was written by Rich Wilkes and Amanda Adelson and directed by Jeff Tremaine. It consisted of Douglas Booth as Nikki Sixx, Iwan Rheon as Mick Mars, Colson Baker as Tommy Lee, and Daniel Webber as Vince Neil.

Iwan Rheon’s performance as Mick Mars was appreciated by both Mötlet Crüe fans and his own longtime fans who have already discovered his talent in ‘Misfits’ and ‘Game of Thrones.’ Rheon had also a great talent and interest in music since his childhood although he chose to focus on his acting career. He released four EPs and one studio album for now.

In his recent Instagram post, Iwan Rheon might have given a clue about his upcoming musical projects by sharing the video of his new song. In the video, Rheo was playing and singing the song which he wrote ten years ago and forgot to sing or perform for years. Both the song and his performance received very positive reviews and fans asked whether he will release new songs or not under his post.

Rheon’s Instagram post read as follows:

“Bit more dressed here… nearly ready to go on. Long wait! Wrote this just over 10 years ago and forgot. Feels more relevant now. Same lot n power. Same lies. I hope you like it. “
