Mick Jagger Takes A Jab At Donald Trump During Live Rolling Stones Show

The Rolling Stones performed at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey on May 23 as part of their ‘Hackney Diamonds Tour.’ Mick Jagger made a pointed remark about former President Donald Trump during the show.

He referred to the adult star at the center of Trump’s criminal hush money trial and said:

“I was a bit worried about the weather—I thought we were going to get a bit of a Stormy Daniels.”

The Former President’s Legal Trouble

Donald Trump faces 34 felony charges for falsifying business records to hide his extramarital relationships. The case includes a $130,000 paid to Stormy Daniels to keep her from revealing an alleged sexual relationship during the 2016 campaigns.

The ex-president pleads not guilty and describes the case as a ‘scam’ and ‘witch hunt.’

Jagger Stands Against Trump

Mick Jagger openly criticized Donald Trump’s administration since the 2016 presidential campaigns. He and his band even threatened legal action to stop him from using ‘You Can’t Always Get What You Want’ during his rallies.

Their 2016 statement read:

“The Rolling Stones do not endorse Donald Trump. ‘You Can’t Always Get What You Want’ was used without the band’s permission.”

The Rolling Stones later worked with the music rights organization BMI to make sure Trump could no longer use their songs in his campaigns.
