Metallica Announces A New Show Co-Headlining With Placebo And Twenty One Pilots

Metallica recently posted a photo on their official Instagram account to announce that they will be touring Europe in 2022 and excited their fans by adding a new festival date in which they’ll co-headline with Twenty One Pilots, Kings of Leon, Pixies, Placebo, and many more.

In the past months, we’ve been regularly sharing the announcements about cancelations and rescheduling of live shows and world tours as numerous rock and metal musicians had to change their plans due to the ongoing Covid-19 restrictions.

However, following the positive turn of events in the United States, various bands including Metallica have made the decision to get back on stage this year. Even though American fans have been counting the days for Metallica’s upcoming U.S. tour, sadly that’s not the case for those in Europe, who will have to wait a little bit longer to see the iconic thrash metal band live.

Some days ago, the band had announced the official dates of their 2022 European Tour and following that, they shared each show separately on their Instagram account. One of them was of Mad Cool Festival which will take place in Madrid, on July 6, 2022, during which Metallica will share the stage with numerous iconic bands such as The Killers, Muse, Kings of Leon, and many more.

Here’s what Metallica said in the caption of their recent post:

“Madrid! We’ll see you at Mad Cool Festival on July 6, 2022! Tickets on sale now on the website!”
