Metallica has announced their first immersive concert film through Apple Music’s official Instagram.
“Watch Metallica’s first immersive concert film, only on Apple Vision Pro starting March 14th,” the band stated in their official announcement.
The exclusive concert experience introduces Metallica’s venture into virtual reality entertainment. The release joins Apple’s expanding collection of immersive content for their Vision Pro platform.

The reporting from AppleInsider reveals that the concert film features three iconic songs. ‘Whiplash,’ ‘One,’ and ‘Enter Sandman’ were captured during the band’s M72 World Tour in Mexico City.
9to5Mac highlights the production’s innovative approach. Apple deployed a custom stage layout with 14 Apple Immersive Video cameras. The setup includes stabilized, cable-suspended, and remote-controlled camera systems capturing performances from multiple angles.
