Metallica has revealed plans to extend its M72 World Tour into 2027. The band will add 12 new North American stadium dates, joined once again by Limp Bizkit and Avatar as support acts, according to an announcement shared by Metallica on Instagram.

The announcement outlines the scope of the new leg and details on when fans can secure tickets.

“The M72 World Tour is making its way across North America with 12 shows in 2027, featuring our returning tour buddies Limp Bizkit and Avatar,” Metallica said.

The band also shared key dates for ticket availability.

“Tickets go on sale Friday, September 25,” Metallica continued. “Fan Club Presales begin Monday, September 21.”

The 2027 run kicks off May 8 at BC Place in Vancouver and wraps up June 19 at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City. Along the way, the tour hits major stadiums including Snapdragon Stadium in San Diego, the Alamodome in San Antonio, Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis and Huntington Bank Field in Cleveland.

The Fan Club presale begins Monday, September 21, at 10 a.m. local time. The general onsale follows through Ticketmaster on Friday, September 25, also at 10 a.m. local time.

The M72 World Tour launched in April 2023 and has since delivered 99 shows across 26 countries. Limp Bizkit and Avatar will appear as support acts across all 12 newly announced dates.
