Maynard James Keenan Shares Opinions On The Possibility Of Doing Live Puscifer Shows Soon

Puscifer frontman Maynard James Keenan opened up about the probability of future live performance of the band during an interview with Consequence Sound, and apparently, the band is following the live-streaming show alternative at the moment, however, Keenan is hopeful for the future of the live shows.

As many of you know, the music industry had to find out alternative ways for live performance when the coronavirus pandemic started. Just like every aspect of our daily lives, music had to be digitalized, therefore, fans have been seeing their favorite artists through live-streaming events for some time now.

Puscifer started to keep up with live-streaming shows when it first came up with ‘Existential Reckoning: Live At Arcosanti‘ which was streamed on October 30, 2020, from the Arizona desert. The band released their fourth full-length album, ‘Existential Reckoning’ via this performance and it became a record-breaking streaming concert.

After receiving huge success from its first live stream, frontman Maynard James Keenan recently announced that the band is getting ready for its second show, ‘Billy D And The Hall Of Feathered Serpents featuring Money $hot By Puscifer’ which is going to be the prequel to their previous live streaming show on April 17, 2021.

While fans cannot wait to see Puscifer perform once again, they are still curious to know if the band may perform a live show with the live audience in the near future since some artists started to go back to the usual performances. During a recent interview, Puscifer’s frontman opened up about the matter and stated that the band is working on the live streaming shows at the moment, however, he’s hopeful for the future, and live shows will come back eventually.

Here is what Maynard James Keenan said:

“For now, I’ve got a bunch of bandmates that are off the road. Carina and Mat sure could use the incomes. We have to figure out what to do. And I think our solution is very well suited for a band like Puscifer, in the form of a concert film, like ‘Money $hot, Billy D and the Hall of Feathered Serpents.’

I’m always hopeful. I’m just kind of a pessimist, so it balances out, but yeah, I think it’s always going to sort itself out eventually.
