Hayley Williams Shares Final Updates Before Taking A Mental Health Break To Focus On Writing New Songs

After sharing her thoughts both about herself and popular subjects, Paramore frontwoman, Hayley Williams announced that she won’t be active on social media and the reasons behind her decision on her Twitter account.

As you may remember, Hayley Williams released her first studio album ‘Petals for Armor’ on May 8, 2020, and proved that her solo career was as successful as her career in Paramore. Shortly after her solo debut, her second solo studio album ‘Flowers for Vases’ was released on February 5, 2021. The second album was regarded as the change from the art-pop sound to folk.

Both of them were liked a lot and the fans started to wait the new announcements about her upcoming projects. Previously, she said that Paramore started to work on the upcoming album of the band. So, Hayley Williams made her final decision about quitting Twitter for some time to be able to keep her sanity and become a functional individual.

Before declaring her break, she shared her happiness about Tina Turner, Carole King, Foo Fighters, and Go-Go’s induction to Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Also, she recalled the times of the release of her first solo album and stated that it was a roller coaster of her mental problems and recovery. Then, she said that this was her final morning on Twitter for a while for her mental health and she wanted to focus on her lyrics and other projects.

Here’s what she wrote:

Tina Turner finally getting her due. This is a momentous day. Your girl is the baddest and one of the most iconic rock singers of all time. paved the way for so many of us. (Side note: Carole King’s  & Go-Go’s too and the Foo Fighters’ that’s cool)

A few days back was a year since I put out an album I said would never happen. My 1st solo album, ‘Petals For Armor.’ Honestly, I’m that I didn’t have to tour it. It was a rollercoaster of recovery, mania, & half-shut resolve. It catalyzed a lotta growth for me personally.

Okay, last morning on Twitter for the next little while! I only keep twitter on my computer so it limits my use… but gonna take a mental health break from all socials just to reset while writing lyrics and trying to remain a functional human being in 2021. Let us begin.”
