Maynard James Keenan Reacts To Letterkenny Actor Evan Stern’s Video About Him And Tool
Tool’s Maynard James Keenan has shared a video on his TikTok account as a response for the Canadian actor Evan Stern and qualified the video as an audition video for ‘Letterkenny,’ a comedy series which he appears to be a fan of.
Apart from his successful musical persona, Maynard James Keenan’s sarcastic and bitter sense of humor is well-known by the fans. He gave another example of this trait of his on his Tiktok recently while responding to a TikTok video by Evan Stern, who is a big fan of Tool and also the actor from the show ‘Letterkenny,’ the series which Maynard also appears to enjoy.
In a recent TikTok video, the comedy series Letterkenny’s star Evan Stern has shared something he noticed in one of Keenan’s previous posts. Apparently, Maynard was wearing a Letterkenny t-shirt to show his admiration for the show. Evan showed a picture of Keenan wearing the t-shirt and said ‘Maynard likes Letterkenny’ while laughing.
Soon later, Maynard also shared a TikTok video as a response to it, asking Evan jokingly to calm down or he is going to pull a hammy. He then explained his role in Tool in a sarcastic way, which sounded a bit harsh. Keenan later interacted with Stern in the comment section of the video, asking if he passed the audition to get to play Roald’s, Evan’s character in the series, long-lost grumpy father in Season 10 of the show.
The content of Evan’s TikTok was that:
“I am presently… shook. [After showing a clip from a video of himself telling his favorite band is Tool] Wait. [Shows Maynard’s profile] This is the lead singer of Tool. [Showing Maynard’s t-shirt] Maynard likes Letterkenny.“
Maynard’s video response on his TikTok was:
“Okay. Here is the thing … Evan, first things first, calm the fuck down or you’re gonna pull a hammy. Two, I’m not the lead singer, I’m the only singer, we’re not the fucking Supremes and I’m not Diana Ross. Third, I’m not of or from Tool, I’m in Tool. In Puscifer, in Perfect Circle, and your mom. Figure it out.”
Later on, Maynard commented on Evan’s reply in the comments section, saying:
“So did I pass my audition to get to play Roald’s long-lost grumpy father in Season 10?”
