Machine Head dropped the new single ‘Unbound’ from the upcoming album ‘Unatoned.’

“Machine Head announce monumental 11th album ‘Unatoned’,” Nuclear Blast Records wrote on Instagram. “Head Cases! We’re excited to reveal that our long-awaited eleventh studio album, Unatoned, drops April 25th, 2025 via Nuclear Blast x Imperium Recordings.”

The post continued, “The crushing new single ‘Unbound’ is out now. Unatoned is a testament to momentum, an album honed to its sharpest edge, forged on creative discipline and the hunger to push forward. It drips with melancholy melodies, and yet hammers with bludgeoning riffs, soars with anthemic sing-a-longs of love-lost and sadness, to bellowing power and undeniable confidence.”

“Eleven albums deep, Machine Head remain as fierce, relevant, and unstoppable as ever. Frontman Robb Flynn produced ‘Unatoned’ with engineer Zack Ohren. It was written on tour and recorded from July to December 2023. ‘Unatoned’ is Machine Head’s first album since ‘Of Kingdom and Crown.’ It’s the first with guitarist Reece Scruggs.

The band teased it last year with the single ‘These Scars Won’t Define Us’ and announced a spring 2025 North American tour with In Flames, Lacuna Coil, and Unearth.

The five-week tour starts on April 5, 2025, in Oakland, California, at the Fox Theater. It includes a stop at the Sick New World festival, travels east, crosses Canada, and ends on May 10 in Kelowna, British Columbia.
