Lzzy Hale Says She Starts Her Day By Pretending Like She’s The Only Person Left On Earth To Practice Self Love

Halestorm vocalist and guitarist, Lzzy Hale, wanted to show how she has been trying to protect her mental health during these tough times by sharing a new post on her official Instagram account.

While most people have been dealing with mental health issues due to the self-quarantine days for over a year, Lzzy Hale found a new way to stay strong in these rough days, which is self-love.

Even though Lzzy was saying that it is really hard to be proud of yourself, she showed the way how she managed to do that. According to Lzzy, she has been thinking that she is the only person living in the world.

Afterward, she can start counting things she liked to do and putting a list of the things that she doesn’t like about herself. In this way, Lzzy can found the things she wants to improve as an act of self-love.

Here is what Lzzy Hale wrote:

Self-love is hard work. To be proud of yourself is hard. There is so much in this life that can make your brain spiral out in a million different directions and make you believe you are unworthy of love or forgiveness. I practice self-love every day.

I start by pretending like I’m the only person left on earth. Then I start counting the things I like about me, both inside and out, the things I can do, the things I like to do, or like to wear etc.

Then I list the things I don’t like about myself, and it becomes apparent that most of the things that I don’t like about myself are only because it is scoffed on or judged by others or societal norms.

When I’m finished, I’m left with a few things that I want to improve upon for me, as an act of Self Love. Brings a whole new meaning to Baby, Love Me Apocalyptic. Love yourself like it’s post-apocalypse… Because you should be the person you love the most.”
