Lzzy Hale Responds To A Fan Who Demands Them To Bring ‘The True Halestorm Back’

Halestorm frontwoman Lzzy Hale recently posted a tweet on her official Twitter account and informed her fans about the band’s upcoming album and responded to fan’s comments which criticized Halestorm for releasing too many cover albums instead of original materials.

Lzzy Hale highly enjoys using her Twitter account to inform her fans about Halestorm’s upcoming projects, express her views on social and political matters, and respond to her fans’ questions and comments. As you know, Halestorm released their most recent album in July 2018. Vicious was the band’s fourth studio album and it peaked at No. 8 on the Billboard 200 charts.

Prior to that, the band had released ReAniMate 3.0: The CoVeRs eP in 2017 which was a follow-up to ReAniMate 2.0: The CoVeRs eP (2013), which was released as the next volume of ReAniMate: The CoVeRs eP (2011). The band released two studio albums in between but it seems like putting in the effort to make cover EPs has upset some Halestorm fans.

Lzzy Hale recently posted a tweet on her Twitter account and announced that they’ve been relentlessly working on their new studio album and that ‘these songs fu*k.’ A fan took this as an opportunity to express their dissatisfaction with the band’s cover albums and said that they should bring ‘the true Halestorm back.’

To this, Lzzy Hale responded by saying that they’re funny as they’ve never done cover albums but only EPs and one-offs. She went on to add that this will be a studio album that will consist of ‘all-new original material‘ and advised their fans to keep an eye out for more details in the coming days.

Here’s what Lzzy Hale said in her tweet:

We are working so hard in the studio! It’s been a rollercoaster ride to hell n back since we began… but It will all be worth it! These songs fuck. Xo.”

To which a fan responded:

“I hope it’s not all covers. You were way better before you started doing those. We need the true Halestorm back!”

And Lzzy Hale replied:

“Haaa! You’re funny, we never do cover albums… only eps and one-offs. This next one will be all-new original material!”
