Liam Gallagher has responded to the concerns about the recent ticket scandal.

A fan asked the Oasis singer on X, “Liam what do you think of the ticket situation? Thinking fans are bots and getting their money returned?”

“I don’t make the rules [we] were trying to do the right thing, it is what it is I’m the singer get [off] my case,” he responded.

The comments came after many ticket buyers who claim they purchased through official channels were upset after Ticketmaster canceled thousands of tickets.

The company says this is to ensure tickets bought by bots are resold to real fans. When the tickets went on sale, there was chaos with long lines, website crashes, and system errors.

Fans shared their frustration about the matter on social media, saying they had waited for hours to get the tickets. A user shared, “So what’s this complete shitshow? Sat on my laptop for hours on general sale day to secure just TWO tickets for ONE gig and you’re telling me I’m a bot and a tout!”

Oasis said they didn’t know dynamic pricing would be used. Upon learning the news, they removed dynamic pricing for the American part of their reunion tour.

The tour starts on July 4 in Cardiff’s Principality Stadium and will also visit places like Manchester’s Heaton Park, London’s Wembley Stadium, Edinburgh’s Murrayfield Stadium, and Dublin’s Croke Park. The band will also perform in Canada, the US, Mexico, South Korea, Japan, Australia, Argentina, Chile, and Brazil.
