Liam Gallagher recently tweeted his anger following comments made by his brother, Noel Gallagher, about his new musical project with John Squire.
Liam and John Squire have completed recording a full album and are planning a few live shows in the upcoming months. Noel mocked this collaboration during a chat with Podcast 150 – General Dread, prompting a strong response from Liam:
“What a pair of c**ts!”
Noel Gallagher’s Mocking Comments

A fan referenced Noel’s words in the chat while asking about the possibility of Squire joining the ‘Definitely Maybe’ tour in 2024. The video showed the former Oasis guitarist saying:
“Presumably, if he makes an album with our kid, he’ll go on the road, and then obviously, they’ll be doing lots of Oasis songs. So, I mean, he’ll have to simplify his playing somewhat.”
His mocking words about the idea of changing the original solos read:
“I wouldn’t be too pleased about that. I might have something to say about that. ‘[Squire], you’re playing your moody blues all of a sudden. The hell you think you are?'”
That’s why when a follower claimed Noel sounded like ‘Alan Partridge when he says, ‘Ooh, I wouldn’t like that,” Liam repeated:
“He sounds like a c**t.”
The Upcoming Gallagher-Squire Collaboration

There’s no official release date yet for the Liam Gallagher and John Squire album. But The Guardian reports that their first single, ‘Just Another Rainbow,’ is expected to be out on January 5.
As the upcoming song includes a guitar solo from Squire, Liam’s words about him read:
“Everyone always bangs on about him as a guitarist, but he’s a top songwriter too … It’s good to see him back writing songs, and fucking good ones. The melodies are mega, and then the guitars are a given. But I think even when you take all the guitars off, you can play the songs all on acoustic, and they’ll all still blow your mind.”
The details about the album’s name are still under wraps.
