Lars Ulrich’s Sons Myles And Layne Release New Single Following The Album Announcement

Metallica co-founder and drummer Lars Ulrich‘s sons Myles and Layne Ulrich announced on their band Taipei Houston‘s official account the release of their new single ‘The Middle’ and their debut project ‘Once Bit Never Bored.’

Lars Ulrich’s two sons followed in their father’s footsteps and formed the Taipei Houston band last year. While Myles plays the drums and the guitar, Layne handles the bass and the vocals. The two brothers, Myles and Layne Ulrich have recently made festival appearances to promote their band.

Ulrich also didn’t shy away from showing his support for his sons. He had previously shared that he is proud of his children’s new band and the material they have created. He explained that his sons worked hard to develop their unique sound that will shine through in their new debut project.

The band dropped their first ever single, ‘As the Sun Sets,’ followed by their most recent release, ‘The Middle,’ to introduce themselves to fans before their debut project’s release this November. The duo has festival performances lined up for October, like ‘Louder Than Life,’ ‘Aftershock,’ and ‘Austin City Limits,’ before the release of the debut record ‘Once Bit Never Bored.’

Myles and Layne Ulrich posted on Instagram and announced that their new single, ‘The Middle,’ was out and even shared a snippet of the official visualizer. They also gave a shout-out to their debut project, ‘Once Bit Never Bored,’ which will release on November 4. The duo didn’t forget to credit their music video editor Agustin Esquibel.

Taipei Houston’s IG post read:
