Korn’s Brian Welch Posts Photo While Being Arrested By The Police, His Friend Reveals The Backstory Which Goes Viral

Korn lead guitarist and Love and Death founder Brian ‘Head’ Welch recently posted a photo on his Instagram account and revealed that he was arrested and his bandmate J.R. Bareis said that he was there too and gave some more details about how it all went down.

As you probably know, Love and Death is a Christian metal band founded by Brian Welch in 2012 and it was initially seen as a re-branding of his solo music project. Brian had put an ad online and one of the first people that he hired was guitarist J.R. Bareis who was 15 years old at the time. Now they are both bandmates and close friends.

With his recent Instagram post, Welch revealed that he was arrested by the police and in the caption, he exclaimed that he is innocent. Bareis commented under the post and said that he was there and tried to help him escape. This attempt ended with the officer ripping his left arm out of its pocket and taking him to the ground.

Here’s what Brian Welch said in the caption of his recent Instagram post:

“Please Officer Waddell! I’m innocent! I promise!”

This is what his friend said about the arrest:

“Remember when I tried to help you escape and Officer Waddell ripped my left arm out of my pocket and took me down to the ground? You’re welcome.”
