KISS’ Paul Stanley Criticizes The People Who Don’t Like Billie Eilish, Post Malone, And Bruno Mars

KISS frontman Paul Stanley opened up about the new musicians he likes during a recent interview, and apparently, the legendary frontman listens to every kind of music and artist including Billie Eilish, Post Malone, Anderson Paak, and Bruno Mars all of which Stanley actually finds amazing.

As many of you know, most of the musicians that have spent their music career during the time period when things were vastly different than now can be skeptical about the music that people listen to now mostly because of technology and the opportunities that social media gives to newly flourishing musicians. Therefore, music is now included countless elements rather than just music, instruments, and vocals, unlike the ‘old days.’

There’s no doubt that there is a majority of people who are appreciating the new music style that involved different sounds, techniques, and style, however, there are also a number of people who always claim the music created mostly with technology rather than instruments cannot be completely called music.

While these statements mostly come from musicians that have been on the side of creating and listening to the old-fashioned way of making music, Paul Stanley isn’t one of them as he revealed during a recent interview. Apparently, the KISS frontman thinks every music genre should be cherished and listened to in order to feel the excitement each one of them gives.

In addition to this, Paul Stanley revealed the musicians he likes and listens to such as Billie Eilish to whom he referred as great just like Post Malone. Along with these genius musicians, Stanley stated that he liked the collaboration of Anderson Paak and Bruno Mars which resulted in a huge chart-hit, ‘Leave the Door Open,’ as well as artists such as Adrian Smith and Richie Kotzen.

Here is what the interviewer asked:

“I would like to know if you are listening to new bands and if you could tell me any names because you have young kids also, they listen to music.”

Here is what Stanley said:

“Yeah, they listen to a lot of music. I sometimes listen too just to see what they are listening to but I’ll tell you Billie Eilish. I mean that’s great music. I mean, when people go I only listen to one kind of music that’s like saying I only eat hamburgers. I mean, it’s like, ‘really? Do you only eat hamburgers? Your breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and dessert?’ So, I never understand that mentality. You know, the more you love the variety, the more exciting things are.

So Billie Eilish is great. Well, the Foo Fighters aren’t new, they’ve been doing this forever now but Post Malone is great, what Anderson Paak and Bruno Mars are doing is great. On the other hand, what Adrian Smith and Richie Kotzen are doing is fabulous you know, it’s just so great. But again, it goes back to all kinds of music, I’m not interested in denying myself in different kinds of music. There’s so much great music out there and some of it is being made today using technology that I’m not using but I don’t really care. I mean, if it feels good and if it sounds good, it’s good.”
