KISS has officially announced a special tribute event as part of their upcoming KISS Kruise: Land-Locked in Vegas.
The event is scheduled for November 13–15 at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas. It will include a long-awaited All-Star Tribute honoring original KISS guitarist Ace Frehley, known as The Spaceman.
KISS shared the full details of the weekend’s activities in their official statement.
“The full KISS Kruise: Land-Locked in Vegas activities schedule is here,” the band announced. “Get ready for an unforgettable weekend featuring the Ace Frehley All-Star Tribute, bringing together Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, Tommy Thayer, Eric Singer, and a lineup of special guests to celebrate The Spaceman.”
The tribute will reunite current and former KISS members on stage. It is a celebration dedicated to Frehley’s iconic legacy with the band. Further details on the full guest lineup are expected to follow.
The announcement carries particular weight given the circumstances surrounding Frehley’s passing. He died on October 16, 2025, at the age of 74. This tribute stands as one of the first major public celebrations of his life and career since his death.
Frehley was a founding member of KISS, joining the band at its inception in 1973. He created the iconic Spaceman persona that became one of the most recognizable characters in rock history. He remained with the group through his first departure in 1982, before rejoining for a celebrated reunion tour in 1996 alongside Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, and Peter Criss.
His second and final exit from KISS came in 2002. It followed the conclusion of the Farewell Tour, which had reunited the original four members in full makeup for the first extended run since the late 1970s. The tour drew massive crowds and reignited global interest in the band’s classic era.
Despite his complicated history with the band in later years, Frehley’s contributions to KISS remain foundational. His guitar work and stage presence helped define the band’s identity during its most commercially and culturally significant period.
The Las Vegas event represents a formal acknowledgment of that legacy. Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, Tommy Thayer, and Eric Singer are all confirmed to participate. The tribute brings together the full current KISS lineup alongside additional special guests to honor the man who helped build the band from the ground up.
