KISS Announces A Solution For Fans Missing Out On Final Concert Venue Experience

KISS are nearing the end of their ‘End Of The Road Tour’ with a final performance set for December 2 at New York’s Madison Square Garden. To include their global fanbase in this event, they are offering a pay-per-view livestream, making it possible for fans worldwide to join in.

The band’s last performance will be broadcast live around the world via PPV.com. In addition to this online platform, it will be available through pay-per-view channels in the United States and Canada. The event will cost $39.99 in these regions, while international fans will be able to access it for $14.99.

Viewers interested in watching won’t need a subscription. The event will be carried out through Indemand, PPV.com’s parent company, and will also be accessible via various cable, satellite, and telco providers, including names like Xfinity, Spectrum, Contour, and others.

The Ongoing Farewell Tour

The ‘End Of The Road Tour’ started in January 2019 and, after a pause in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, went on in 2021. As a part of the trek, the band has performed in over 200 shows across different continents, including North and South America, Europe, Asia, and Oceania.

The tour’s final stop on December 2 will likely be the last time KISS performs in their traditional format. But there are hints from the members that the band might continue their shows in different ways, as last year, in a chat with Ultimate Classic Rock, Paul Stanley shared:

“KISS is like an army or a sports team. When the MVP is no longer playing or retired, the team doesn’t call it quits. On a battlefield, an army, when they lose soldiers, doesn’t wave the white flag. Somebody else picks up the weapon and runs forward. So in one form or another, I believe there will always be a KISS.”

Meanwhile, Gene Simmons mentioned his ideas about the possibility of future KISS performances without the original members in another interview with ‘Let There Be Talk’ by saying:

“The Blue Man Group and Phantom of the Opera tour around the world with different personnel. There could and should be a KISS show, kind of live onstage with effects and everything else, but also a semi-autobiographical thing about four knuckleheads off the streets of New York that ends with the last third as a full-blown celebration, a full-on performance.”

Before the final concert in New York, KISS has twelve more shows planned. The band will finish up in Canada on November 22 and then continue performing in the US, starting in Knoxville, Tennessee, on November 24.
