Kirk Hammett Thrills Metallica Fans As He Confirms He’s Working On New Riffs For New Album
Metallica guitarist Kirk Hammett shared a post on his official Twitter page revealing a piece of exciting news to the band’s fans and apparently, the iconic guitarist has been working on new riffs for the upcoming album of the band.
As many of you know, it’s been 5 years since Metallica’s latest studio album, ‘Hardwired… to Self-Destruct’ was released on November 18, 2016. The tenth studio album achieved numerous successes as expected since it debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200, topped the charts in 57 countries, and receiving generally positive reviews from critics.
While fans have been expecting a brand new Metallica album for quite some time now, and the band was writing fresh material in 2020 for a new album as drummer Lars Ulrich has revealed during an interview. Fans cannot wait to see new updates on the band members’ work for the upcoming studio album of the band.
Recently, Kirk Hammett gave the thrilling news via a post on his official Twitter page revealing that he started to work on new guitar riffs, most likely for the upcoming eleventh studio album of Metallica and fans are going crazy over the iconic guitarist’s tweet as it gave a glimpse of hope for the future album.
