King Crimson’s Robert Fripp announced his OnlyFans account with a nude video recently on YouTube.
In the video the musician posted on April 1, Fripp is naked, with only his guitar covering his lower body. He sits on the stairs, caresses his guitar, and licks his lips before showing a link to his OnlyFans page on the screen.
A description under the video said:
“Robert has officially joined OnlyFans! Subscribe now for exclusive, jaw-dropping content you never knew you needed…”
Reactions To Fripp’s Video

When you click the link, it goes to a broken page. So, Fripp hasn’t actually joined OnlyFans, and it was just a joke for April Fools’ Day. Since Fripp posted the video, some fans found the April Fool’s joke funny, while others didn’t seem to get the joke at all. One person wrote:
“‘Expect the unexpected’ goes over the top. What a laugh! Thanks for this.”
Another one also agreed, writing:
“Hilarious, love your sense of humor.”
Still, one other user on the platform criticized the rocker:
“Even though it’s satire, it’s still disturbing as f*ck.”
Another commenter added:
“WTF!!!! Robert’s lost it! Get the doctor!”
Fripp And His Wife’s ‘Sunday Lunch’ Series

It’s not surprising that Fripp shared such a video, considering his ongoing ‘Sunday Lunch’ series with his wife, Toyah Willcox. During the pandemic, they covered bits of songs while wearing silly costumes. Fripp even wore fake tattoos for a Black Sabbath song. In a 2021 chat with Rolling Stone, he talked about how the series started, saying:
“My wife has been insistent. Performers have a responsibility to perform and, at this particular time, to keep people’s spirits up. This is a very English cultural tradition. Essentially, when things are really bad in England, what you do is begin laughing and do silly things. A good reference point is the Ministry of Silly Walks on Monty Python. Now it’s, ‘Robert puts on a tutu and dances to Swan Lake at the river’s edge with his wife.’ So I have followed my wife’s sense and vision of these things.”
Later this year, Fripp and Willcox will go on tour during the holidays. The couple will start their shows on December 16 at the Queen’s Hall in Edinburgh. Then, they’ll go to Sunderland, Bath, and London before finishing on December 22 at the Wulfrun Hall in Wolverhampton.
