Kelly Osbourne is unhappy with her family after her mother Sharon Osbourne and brother Jack Osbourne recently reunited with their older sister Aimee Osbourne, according to sources who spoke to The Sun.
The reunion between Sharon, Jack and Aimee happened at a particularly difficult time for Kelly. Sources close to the family explained that Kelly and Aimee are not currently on speaking terms, and that Kelly was shocked by the meeting.
An insider told The Sun: “Kelly is currently not on speaking terms with Aimee, and she was shocked to see the cozy reunion between the three of them. It couldn’t have come at a more emotional time for Kelly who marked her birthday this week, with her late dad Ozzy very much on her mind amid the celebrations.”
Another source close to the family described how Aimee has been coping since their father’s death. “Since Ozzy passed away, Aimee has really retreated into herself and shut down. It’s her way of dealing with grief. Everyone reacts differently and Sharon, as well as Jack and his wife, are doing their best to support her as best they can. Aimee can’t watch videos or look at photographs of Ozzy, she finds it too upsetting.”
The source added that Sharon is supportive of Aimee’s needs. “Sharon completely understands and respects that. All she wants to do is to support her children as best they can and help them through this. Spending time with Aimee and Jack has been lovely for her and it means so much to have them together as a family. Kelly chose not to be involved and that’s fine. It’s her decision and if that’s what she wants, then no-one is going to be able to change her mind.”
Despite her unhappiness, Kelly has accepted the situation. “While Kelly isn’t happy with the situation she understands and respects it’s up to Jack and Sharon.”
The family has been navigating grief and recovery following Ozzy Osbourne’s passing, with each member handling the loss in different ways. The sources indicated that the family remains supportive of one another through this difficult period.
The estrangement between Kelly and Aimee runs deeper than their recent conflict. Aimee did not participate in the family’s reality TV show “The Osbournes,” which aired from 2002 to 2005 and featured her parents Ozzy and Sharon along with Kelly and Jack. Aimee has always valued her privacy despite growing up with a famous father, while Kelly has said she resents never having a big sister and claimed Aimee seemed embarrassed of the family during the show’s run.
Before Ozzy’s death on July 22 at age 76, Kelly and Aimee were already estranged. Kelly has been open about the difficulty of not having a close relationship with her older sister, saying she does not want people in her life who do not accept her and try to change her. When asked whether she thought reconciliation was possible, Kelly said she did not believe it would happen.
Despite her limited contact with Kelly, Aimee has maintained some connection with other family members in recent times. She attended the Grammy Awards earlier in 2026 with Sharon and Jack, and she joined her family at Ozzy’s funeral in London in 2025. The recent reunion comes as the family continues to process their loss, with each member finding their own way through grief.
