John Corabi has announced a drummer change for The Dead Daisies’ upcoming European tour. He cited unforeseen circumstances in a statement shared on X (formerly Twitter).
The announcement addressed the last-minute lineup adjustment and revealed the replacement drummer for the tour.
“Due to unforeseen circumstances, Tommy Clufetos will not be on The Dead Daisies European tour this month,” Corabi said. “Our very good friend Brent Fitz will be filling in on this tour.”
The tour is scheduled to take place this month. Brent Fitz will step in to handle drumming duties in Clufetos’ absence.
This drummer change comes as The Dead Daisies prepare for an extensive European tour. The tour showcases their continued commitment to live performances across the continent.
The Dead Daisies official website reported that the band is returning to Europe for several major festival appearances. These include the Music Legends Festival in Bilbao, Graspop Metal Meeting in Belgium, and Basinfirefest in the Czech Republic. The tour also includes additional performances in Germany, Netherlands, Poland, and Slovakia. This demonstrates the band’s strong European fanbase.
Blabbermouth revealed that English rockers The Treatment will be joining the band as special guests on the European leg. This adds another layer of classic rock energy to the performances. This collaboration highlights The Dead Daisies’ ability to curate compelling live experiences for their audiences.
The band’s enthusiasm for the upcoming tour was evident in recent statements from the group. Grande Rock noted that guitarist Doug Aldrich expressed his anticipation for the performances. He emphasized the band’s dedication to delivering memorable shows regardless of venue.
“Hey guys, hope all is amazing where you are! Dates are coming in hard and fast for the 2025 tours. Can’t wait to play for you all again. No matter where you see us, we’ll bring it, and you’re guaranteed to have a great night. So, roll on 2025! Let’s go!!” Aldrich said.
