Good news for Mötley Crüe fans: A new album is on the road, and John 5 confirmed that it resembles ‘Dr. Feelgood.’

In a new interview with The Metal Voice, the Mötley Crüe guitarist shared details of their upcoming album. The rocker thoroughly explained the band’s plans for touring and rehearsing:

“Well, we’re writing songs, and a new song will be coming out soon, and it’s really great. I’m super excited, I can’t wait. I’m gonna start my tour Friday here in Santa Ana, and we go about until March, then we start rehearsals with Mötley in April. We do the summer with Mötley, then November in Europe with the instrumental stuff and that’s the whole year right there.”

When asked about the musical direction of the band, the rocker described the upcoming songs and pointed out their resemblance to ‘Dr. Feelgood’:

“Heavy great songs. I would say you could easily hear this of the ‘Dr. Feelgood’ album.

More Details About New Music

The band’s latest music release dates back to 2008 with their album ‘Saints Of Los Angeles.’ Since then, there has been no public indication of plans for new music until the recruitment of John 5 following Mick Mars’ retirement. Earlier this month, more details emerged about the upcoming album, with John 5 suggesting that the band experiences something ‘magical’ when they all come together.

In another interview, the guitarist mentioned that although the release date remains unclear, the album is thoroughly planned and structured.

Drummer Tommy Lee is also enthusiastic, describing the sound of the new record as ‘insane,’ and revealing that the band is currently in the process of recording the music video for one of the songs titled ‘Dogs Of War,’ gearing up for its release.
