Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor’s wife Alicia Taylor recently addressed fan speculation about whether her husband would tour with Motionless in White. She responded to questions during an impromptu social media session shared on X (formerly Twitter).

The discussion arose after fans wondered if Corey Taylor would join Motionless in White on tour. This speculation followed his guest vocal feature on their new single “Playing God,” from the band’s upcoming album Decades.

When a Slipknot fan asked about “Corey performing with Motionless in White,” Alicia Taylor provided a straightforward response.

“I’m on a flight to Rockville Fest and I’m bored. Let’s do an AMA, it’s been awhile,” she said. “No. He’s at home doing chores.”

The brief exchange clarified that despite Taylor’s recent musical collaboration with Motionless in White, there are currently no plans for him to join them on tour.

Taylor’s collaboration with Motionless in White represents a significant crossover between two major forces in the metal scene. Loaded Radio reported that the partnership came together for “Playing God,” which serves as a standout track on Motionless in White’s upcoming album Decades. The collaboration showcases Taylor’s versatility beyond his primary roles with Slipknot and Stone Sour.

The timing of this collaboration coincides with Motionless in White’s continued evolution as a band. The Gauntlet noted that the band is set to conquer the metal scene with their new album and the Taylor-featured single, marking another milestone in their career trajectory. The Pennsylvania-based metalcore band has consistently pushed boundaries with their theatrical approach and heavy sound.

The release of “Playing God” includes a music video that further amplifies the collaboration’s impact. This visual component adds another layer to the partnership between Taylor and Motionless in White. It gives fans a complete multimedia experience of their musical union.

While fans may have hoped for live performances featuring both acts, Motionless in White will continue their 2026 tour dates without Taylor’s participation. The band’s upcoming tour schedule remains focused on promoting Decades and their established catalog. The recorded collaboration serves as the extent of their current partnership with the Slipknot frontman.
