Dee Snider Responds To A Hater Calling Him ‘Hypocrite’ Over His Comment On Jon Schaffer

Former Twisted Sister vocalist Dee Snider responded to the criticism about his comments on Iced Earth guitarist Jon Ryan Schaffer by sharing a new post via Twitter.

As you might already know, 53-year-old guitarist Jon Schaffer plead guilty to federal crimes in connection with the capital attack in January 2021, and Dee slammed him by saying that he is the embarrassment of metal music.

Because of his comment on Jon, one of the Twitter users criticized Dee for being a hypocrite. According to this user, Jon did nothing different from what Dee said in his ‘We Are Not Gonna Take It’ song.

However, Dee doesn’t believe that this is true and showed that he is against terrorist actions. According to Dee, Jon is still the disgrace of the United States because of his involvement in the capital attack.

Here is what Dee Snider said earlier:

“This piece of shit is an embarrassment to the metal community! First, he shames us with his terrorist actions on in DC, and then he becomes a rat to his own people for a lighter sentence! Man the f*ck up! Own your shit! If you do the crime, do the time!”

One of the Twitter users about Dee:

“Dee’s a hypocrite and a pussy. This is the same guy who wrote ‘We’re Not Gonna Take It,’ defended it by saying ‘It was no more violent than the declaration of independence’ and now wants to condemn Jon for actually acting like our Founding Fathers and raging against the machine.”

Dee Snider responded:

“Want to? I f*cking did clearly and articulately! He’s a disgrace to this country, the metal community and to his own people (ratting out his group for a lighter sentence). As far as ME being a pussy… I’ll see ya around.”
