New York City-based singer-songwriter Jesse Malin has been keeping himself busy with a number of projects lately, and it seems like there’s no stopping him anytime soon. In a recent interview with Louder, Malin shed light on his future plans, including working on a book and a new album.

Twenty years after his solo debut, ‘The Fine Art Of Self Destruction,’ Malin will be hitting the road once more, taking his music across the UK and the US. The short UK tour, during which he’ll be playing his debut album in its entirety, kicks off on May 30 at the Hare and Hounds in Birmingham and wraps up on June 2 at Clwb Ifor Bach in Cardiff. Malin will then head back to the US for a string of shows, starting on June 15 at Club Cafe in Pittsburgh, PA, and ending on July 15 at the Ardmore in Philadelphia, PA. However, these shows will not be the only new projects expecting the fans.

During the Louder interview, Malin shared his excitement about working on a book and a new album for 2023. He expressed his eagerness to get back on stage and perform for his fans, noting that he enjoys the energy and connection that comes with live music.
