Jack Osbourne recently addressed false rumors surrounding his father Ozzy Osbourne’s death. He categorically denied claims that it was planned or involved euthanasia. His comments were shared via his personal channel on YouTube.

The statement directly refuted speculation that had been circulating about the circumstances of the rock legend’s passing.

“He was having a rough go, you know, and I think people saw that at the show,” Jack said. “But no one expected it to happen as quickly as it did and when it did, it was not anything that was on our radar.”

Jack specifically addressed the euthanasia rumors that had been spreading online.

“I know leading up to it, there was all sorts of stuff going around about my dad going to Switzerland and was going to euthanize himself, and this was all planned, and it was not absolutely not,” he continued. “That is categorically untrue and ridiculous.”

He also shared insights into his father’s state of mind before his passing.

“My dad had, he was so happy that he did the show and he was happy to kind of move into this next phase of his life,” Jack explained. “He wanted to spend more time in England. He wanted to spend more time with my kids. He wanted to spend more time with just exploring different things as much as he could.”

Jack’s statements come as official details about his father’s death have been made public. These details provide concrete evidence that contradicts the conspiracy theories that had been circulating online.

The Independent reported that Ozzy Osbourne’s official death certificate lists the cause as an acute myocardial infarction, commonly known as a heart attack. The certificate also indicates that coronary artery disease and Parkinson’s disease with autonomic dysfunction were contributing factors to his death.

The Black Sabbath frontman had been battling Parkinson’s disease since his diagnosis in 2019. This condition had significantly impacted his health in recent years. The Los Angeles Times noted that he had also suffered from multiple health issues stemming from past injuries. These included a severe quad-biking accident and a fall in 2019 that required multiple surgeries.

On the day of his death, ABC7 confirmed that an air ambulance was dispatched to the Osbourne family home near Chalfont St Giles in Buckinghamshire to provide advanced critical care. This emergency response underscores the sudden nature of the medical crisis that led to his passing.

These official medical findings directly support Jack’s statements. They provide clear evidence against the unfounded rumors about planned euthanasia. The documented cause of death shows that Ozzy Osbourne died from natural causes related to his existing health conditions. He did not die from any deliberate action as the conspiracy theories had suggested.
