Five Finger Death Punch frontman Ivan Moody has officially confirmed that the band’s highly anticipated 10th studio album is finished. He shared the milestone update via Instagram.

Instead of marking the achievement the way he once did, Moody used the announcement to reflect on his personal growth. He noted a significant change in how he now chooses to celebrate.

“Album: Done. I used to ‘celebrate’ by drinking myself into oblivion f*cked up,” Moody said. “Nowadays I prefer to celebrate with North Shore Burger.”

The update drew an enthusiastic response from fans. One commenter noted: “Shinedown just dropped their new album and now Five Finger Death Punch is about to drop their new album anytime from now. This year is definitely gold for new music releases.”

The announcement marks a notable moment for both the band and Moody personally, as he continues to embrace sobriety. No official release date for the album has been announced yet.

The confirmation comes after months of anticipation surrounding the band’s next chapter, with the album already generating significant buzz well before its release.

The band has been building toward this moment throughout their 20th-anniversary cycle. As reported by Melodic Magazine, guitarist Zoltan Bathory confirmed in a 2025 interview that the band was actively working on their 10th studio album. The project is tied to the band’s upcoming 20th-anniversary World tour, signaling that the album rollout is set to be one of the biggest moments in the band’s career.

The first taste of the new record is already on the way. The band’s official website revealed that a brand new single titled “Eye of the Storm” is coming, identified as the lead single from the forthcoming 10th studio album. A pre-save is already available for fans ahead of its worldwide release.

The album has also been generating widespread industry attention. Revolver Magazine named Five Finger Death Punch’s untitled 10th studio album one of the 60 most anticipated albums of 2026. The outlet noted that the band spent 2025 looking back at their vast catalog before turning their focus to new music.

Moody’s sober celebration also carries deeper significance in the context of the band’s public narrative. His recovery journey has been a recurring theme in Five Finger Death Punch’s story over the years. His choice to mark the album’s completion with a burger rather than a drink stands as a quiet but powerful testament to how far he has come. As the band gears up for both a major album release and a landmark anniversary tour, Moody’s personal milestone adds an emotional layer to what is shaping up to be a defining year for the group.
