Twisted Sister members Jay Jay French and Eddie Ojeda have announced that former Skid Row singer Sebastian Bach will front the band for some of their reunion shows, as reported on Instagram.

The announcement comes as original vocalist Dee Snider had to step down due to health issues. This led the band to seek a replacement for their upcoming performances.

“FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Twisted Sister members Jay Jay French and Eddie Ojeda are thrilled to announce that iconic vocalist and front man Sebastian Bach will be fronting the band for a handful of select dates this fall,” the band stated. “These appearances do not affect or conflict with Sebastian’s current or future solo touring schedule, which remains fully intact.”

The collaboration will allow Twisted Sister to continue their planned reunion shows. It will also ensure Sebastian Bach can maintain his existing solo commitments.

This development follows a series of setbacks for the band’s highly anticipated reunion tour. Blabbermouth reported that Twisted Sister had originally scrapped its 2026 reunion shows on February 5 after Dee Snider resigned, citing health issues including degenerative arthritis and heart strain from decades of intense performing.

The planned reunion tour was set to mark the band’s 50th anniversary. It was scheduled to kick off April 25 in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Rock 101 noted that the cancellation disappointed fans who had been eagerly awaiting the band’s return to the stage after years of hiatus.

Dee Snider has given his blessing to Bach fronting the shows, showing support for the collaboration despite his inability to participate. Metal Injection revealed that the Instagram announcement includes a clip of Twisted Sister’s “You Can’t Stop Rock ‘N’ Roll” featuring Bach on vocals, giving fans a preview of what to expect from the upcoming performances.

The specific dates for the fall performances with Sebastian Bach have not yet been announced. This leaves fans waiting for further details about when and where they can witness this unique collaboration between the former Skid Row frontman and the remaining members of Twisted Sister.
